Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were defeated within the first five minutes. Then she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen a unanimous defeat and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. InvictaFC 11 was her debut professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to take out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. Her final fight with the promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina by using her ground and pound techniques which resulted in a TKO second round victory. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize for the performance of the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd's win was a majority decision, as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a majority decision.
