Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello! My name is Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her wonderful fianc JP in Orange County California. Henry is a happy, go-lucky father. A lot of people know me as @annephung on Instagram and I write about my life from highs and lows. In 1990, my family moved to America. When I was of one quarter, I joined my parents. In order to give them an opportunity to live a successful future, I focused on my goals and worked hard to get there. Within my head, I knew what the plan was for life. You go to college and graduate. Wed. Buy a house. Create children. Though I believed that this was the standard for success, life had different strategies. The job I held in 2013 was something I dreaded. The status and wealth did not bring me joy. I felt I was wasting away my existence to get a pay check. My passion for fitness and my passion for socializing with others led me to pursue a new career as a personal trainer. The business I started was in 2014, and I'll be celebrating my 7th year of business success in the year 2021. It is rare to find Asian females working in the field. As an instructor, my aim is to encourage people to live a healthy and enjoyable life by establishing viable lifestyles that are suited to the individual's goals and needs. I also strive to empower individuals to follow their desires and accomplish whatever they would like to do in their life. My career exploded as I was experiencing the most happiness of my life. My mother passed away just when my professional life began to fall off. In Heaven she now rests following an eight-year fight against the disease known as Scleroderma. However, I carry the memory about her each day. It is possible to learn from life, even though we may not be able to spot it in the moment. The loss of my mother has changed my life in a profound way and I believe she gave me a second chance at life. Her passing in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was her opportunity to start with a fresh start. For me, it was a second chance for me to lead a fulfilled life. As I approach my 30s I feel a sense that I am alive and living. It's not like I just exist anymore. In sharing the tale of my life, it is to ensure that other people are able to relate to my feelings and thoughts. It is to know that they are not alone. Also, that there exists genuine love. Therapy is necessary and not uncommon. Also, health is your biggest wealth. I pray to live your the life you want to live and have your end is without regrets since that's the only thing that we have to be confident about for the rest of our lives.
