That that same year, she starred for the first time on the large screen in the highly acclaimed comedy-drama Transamerica. She appeared on the screen in the Law & Order Criminal Intent Season four episode. In 2014, she was a part of Dick Wolf s Chicago franchise as Nadia Decotis in Chicago P.D. . She portrayed this character from 2011 to 2015, and then reprised it in Law & Order Special Victims Unit which is another show on TV by Wolf. The same year she also began playing Julia Wicker, the main female protagonist in Syfy the fantasy drama The Magicians. Stella Maeve continued acting in independent movies while she forged herself as a TV actor. Starlet (2012) was the drama she appeared in, and was awarded in the Film Independent Spirit Awards 2013 as well as the Robert Altman Awards.
