Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre. The style is similar that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and some morbid pleasure from them. She began her reviews in the latter half of 2009, and when she began to gain some recognition (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa), Allison Pregler became part of Channel Awesome's family. The site remained active until the beginning of 2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts. One focused on the Charmed series and the second one co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
