Nancy O'Dell's debut job in the broadcast industry was as a reporter/anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. O'Dell later became an anchor for morning news on WCBD TV and acted as a crime reporter. Her reporting on the streets of Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the incidents. Ms. O'Dell won the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. After her time in Charleston, O'Dell worked as a co-anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV as well as an investigative reporter. She then became a part of Access Hollywood to work as a weekday and weekend correspondent. O'Dell anchors the main newscast at Access Hollywood. In addition she is a contributor to NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She's been a reporter for the Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. She co-hosted both the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
