Canadian actress, best well-known for her character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. She began starring in CBS' Blood & Treasure, beginning in 2019. Other credits include Earthstorm from 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she was a part of in 2005. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, the daughter of Peter Silk who is an academic. His wife Ilkay is an actress also a director and producer as well as playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Annas earliest memories were of attending play rehearsals, and watching her mom do her job. Silk made several commercials when she was young. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at minimum two performances in the early days of theatre. The two were Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1998). Samuel and Levi, their sons are given the names. She landed her first major role as Bo Dennis, a succubus on the Canadian television show Lost Girl in 2009. CNN recognized Bo's performance with Lauren on Lost Girl as a same-sex couple as one of their top TV couples of all time. E! named them the Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
